Flu Season 20/21

It is vitally important this year that all patients eligible have their flu vaccine.  The practice has purchased a flu vaccine for all eligible patients. We have limited stock until our next delivery, so vaccines will be given to eligible cohort on a first come first serve basis. We will be holding additional clinics when more stock arrives.

Our 3rd clinic will be held on Wednesday 21st of October from 1.30pm until 5.30pm.  The staff at the surgery will be working this day to organise the queuing system outside.  We will have 1 entrance and 2 exits so patients can leave the surgery as safely as possible.

You will be asked to que in a sensible way adhering the 2 metre guidance.  We will be taking over some of the carpark to allow us to keep patients and staff safe during the above times.  Once in surgery you will be directed to a clinician.  You will not enter the room just stand at the doorway.  Please make sure that you have your clothing removed on the arm that you want the vaccine to be administered.  The clinician will verified your details to make sure that you are eligible to received the vaccine.

Housebound patients will be contacted separately to arrange a suitable time so that the practice nurse can administered the vaccine in your own home.

If you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact the surgery.
