Pharmacy first is a healthcare service that allows patients to visit their local pharmacies for advice and treatment of certain medical conditions without having to wait and see a GP

• Insect Bites - Aged 1 year and over
• Shingles - Aged 18 years and over
• Sinusitus - Aged 12 years and over 
• Sore Throat - 5 years and over 
• Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) - Women aged 16 years to 64 years
• Oral Contraception 

How can you access Pharmacy First?

1. GP Surgery - Speak to a member of the GP surgery team who can then refer you to you chosen pharmacy.
2. Self Referral - You can contact your chosen pharmacy and have a consult with the pharmacist on site who can then prescribe medication if needed/able.
