Appointments

All surgeries are by appointment only. To make an appointment please call on 01226752470 during opening hours. If the doctor of your choice is not available, you will offered the earliest possible alternative . A limited number of appointment’s are available for booking in advance for patients who require a follow-up appointment with the doctor or who need to make advance arrangements to come to surgery due to transport/work/school.
As Monday is the busiest say of the week there will only be very limited number of pre-bookable appointments available. Pre-bookable appointments will be limited to one month in advance unless requested by a medical professional , Each appointment slot is for one person only.

Early Morning & Late Evening Appointments

Early morning and late evening appointments are available to book for patients that cannot attend surgery during normal working hours.

Early morning: Wednesday

Late Evening: Monday

These appointments can only be book by speaking to a receptionist.

Emergency Appointments

Urgent cases will be seen on the same day. Sick notes are not an emergency and will be refused in an emergency surgeon.

Telephone Consultations

You may speak to a doctor or nurse over the telephone or request advise. Tell the receptionist whether you want to speak to a doctor or nurse – she will take you your details, if no one is readily available you will receive a call back from the doctor or nurse at a time arranged with you.

Home Visits

Home visits should be requested before 10.30 hours wherever possible. Please only request a home visit if it is absolutely necessary and is not medically possible to come to surgery. Patients requesting a home visit will be asked the reason for the visit by the reception staff, this is to enable the doctor to prioritise visits.

IT IS THE PATIENTS RESPONSIBILITY TO INFORM THE SURGERY IF THEY CANNOT KEEP AN APPOITMENT OR IF THEY ARE GOING TO BE LATE.

Due to the coronavirus outbreak, how you contact us will be different at the moment. This is to limit face-to-face contact whenever possible and help stop the spread of coronavirus.

If you are waiting for a check-up, please be assured we will be in touch Appointments are being delivered face-to-face, online and over the telephone. If you are asked to come into the surgery for a face-to-face appointment, please remember to wear a face covering. Measures are in place to keep you safe from infection during your visit to the surgery.
